Last night's dream
Personthingy:
and it's "time for class"
Personthingy:
so you guys walk me to class
Personthingy:
and, it's a classroom full of my old classmates
Personthingy:
and they're all milling about, some are sitting down, chatting and waiting for our tutor to turn up
Personthingy:
so I go to find a vacant seat, but the only desks that are free are at the back of the room... and to get there, I have to walk past the old gang
Personthingy:
as I'm walking past, I see they're all in the middle of unwrapping presents.. and when they see me, they look really guilty and start hiding them
Clacker:
=/
Personthingy:
Even [redacted] was there... and he nervously laughed and was like "Oh, hi! H-How are you doing?"
Personthingy:
I was just like "... yeah, fine, but I'd appreciate if people didn't hide from me or pretend they can't see me"
Personthingy:
so I walk past, and the only seat is next to [redacted] and [redacted]
Personthingy:
who see me coming and then engage in a discussion and don't say anything
Personthingy:
then our tutor arrives and is like "Okay, I need you all to stand up so I can take photos of everyone in pairs! It's for our grad book!"
Clacker:
>_<
Personthingy:
and I frantically look around to realise that I will be paired with either [redacted] or [redacted]
Personthingy:
at which point, they SUDDENLY realise I was there sitting next to them the whole time
Personthingy:
and they're all "Heyyyyy, how've you been!"
Personthingy:
so anyway
Personthingy:
after the photo, we have to do some work, and we're chatting and having a good laugh like it used to be
Personthingy:
and at the end of class, when people are leaving, just as they go to get up, I ask "Are we still friends?"
Personthingy:
and they just nervously look at each other
Personthingy:
and tell me "That's what we used to think"
Personthingy:
"But you're different now"
Personthingy:
"Your posts on Facebook are always so angry"
Personthingy:
"We don't know how to talk to you"
Personthingy:
and then they're gone, and the warm glow that was in the room has gone (someone turned off the lights on their way out)
Personthingy:
and I feel really small, I shrink down to the size of the desk chairs, and I can't seem to keep myself standing
Personthingy:
and I smash myself into a wall to stop myself from crying
Personthingy:
and I see out of the corner of my eye, one of them is watching me from the door
Personthingy:
they run away when I look at them
Clacker:
=(
Personthingy:
then at the other doorway, the other is there and looking at me, and also runs away
Personthingy:
and I'm left, alone, in a dark and lonely room
Personthingy:
and I wake up
Personthingy:
and it's my birthday
Personthingy:
:)
Clacker:
